BERGAMOT MINT

Bergamot Mint essential oil  is steam distilled from the leaves and stems of the Mentha citrata plant.

​Aromatically, Bergamot Mint has a soft, lavender-like, minty with a hint of citrus scent.

Despite the name, Bergamot Mint is not related to the bergamot fruit in any way; rather, it comes from a flowering, perennial herb that is part of the Lamiaceae (mint) family. The essential oil is commonly found in many personal care products. Bergamot Mint essential oil can be used aromatically and topically. Bergamot Mint is perfect for diffusing after a hard day or at bedtime. It can also make a wonderfully soothing addition to a comforting massage or warm bath. Bergamot Mint's calming, inspiring aroma is also effective at clearing the air of musty or unpleasant smells. Diffuse it or add a few drops to a small spray bottle with water to create a refreshing, clean-smelling room spray.
