3/30/2023 0 Comments Avoid Pads and FeetIt might seem logical to assume that applying essential oils to an animal's feet is a safe and effective way to introduce them to the oils, just like we do with humans. However, this is not always the case. For one, animal feet are very sensitive and they may not like being touched or handled in that way. Also, other easier and less irritating application methods can produce the same or even better results.
So, it's important to consider the animal's preferences and needs when using essential oils on them. Also note that the pads of animals, dogs and cats, particularly, possess their sweat glands. Now imagine the difference between an animal and a human. That’s like applying oils directly to a human’s armpits. Yikes!
