Did you know that you can use essential oils on your furry friends just like you do on yourself? There are three ways to use oils - aromatic, topical, and internal. But let's stick with the first two for now, as you should always consult with your vet before trying anything internally.
My go-to method is the "petting technique." All you need to do is put a drop or two of your chosen oil in your palm, rub your hands together, and then give your pet a gentle rubdown. Start at their head and gradually work your way down their neck and back, but watch out for sensitive spots like their nose, eyes, and privates. Not only will your pet feel great, but you'll bond in the process!
Alternatively, you can use a diffuser or create a spray to spread the aroma around the room or the stall (for your outdoor pets). Just remember to use 1-4 drops, and give your pet the option to leave if they're not into the smell.
