Seriously, Brenda, we need more than that! We need 25-38 grams of fiber a day. You can add a lot by focusing on eating dark leafy greens, fruits, complex carbs, and healthy fats. If you need a little extra support, try our dōTERRA Fiber (which has both soluble and insoluble fiber). dōTERRA’s Fiber has 6 grams of fiber (5 soluble, 1 insoluble). We need both. The amount of processed foods we eat has led to low bacterial diversity in our gut flora. Fiber feeds our gut flora. (Prebiotics are just as important as Probiotics). If you are eating more processed foods than whole foods (like veggies and fruit at each meal), chances are you need some extra fiber. 👉Add a scoop to your morning glass of water or maybe a smoothie and start tracking your fiber intake.
